Healthy volunteers are participants who do not have a disease or condition, or related conditions or symptoms

An interventional clinical study is where participants are assigned to receive one or more interventions (or no intervention) so that researchers can evaluate the effects of the interventions on biomedical or health-related outcomes.

An observational clinical study is where participants identified as belonging to study groups are assessed for biomedical or health outcomes.

Searching Both is inclusive of interventional and observational studies.

You can narrow your results further by searching each trial’s description for a specific word. Keep in mind that this will search the full description. We recommend carefully reviewing each trial information to ensure that it is an appropriate fit for you.

  • Flunotinib Maleate Phase II Intermediate-High Risk Bone Fiber Clinical Trial

This trial adopts a multicenter, open-label, positive drug parallel control clinical trial design, planning to enroll approximately 75 MF participants. Eligible participants will be stratified and assigned in a 1:1:1 ratio to the low-dose fruquintinib maleate tablet group, high-dose fruquintinib maleate tablet group, or the ruxolitinib tablet group. Stratification factors include the Dynamic International Prognostic Scoring System (DIPSS) risk classification (intermediate-2 and high risk)

  • Hematocrit to Hemoglobin Ratio and Red Blood Cell Distribution Width in Polycythemia Vera and Secondary Erythrocytosis.

Polycythemia vera (PV), a hematological neoplasm characterized by excessive erythropoiesis due to Janus kinase 2 (JAK2)- activating mutations. On the other hand, patients with secondary polycythemia (SP), a disorder mostly caused by an increased red cell mass due to chronic hypoxia (i.e, pulmonary disorders and smoking) and erythropoietin-producing tumors (such as leiomyoma, hemangiomas, renal cysts and various carcinomas), are phenotypically slightly different and are usually considered to have significantly better outcomes. Red blood cell distribution width (RDW) reflects the heterogeneity of red blood cell sizes (anisocytosis)...

  • HLA-Mismatched Unrelated Donor Peripheral Blood Stem Cell Transplantation With Reduced Dose Post Transplantation Cyclophosphamide GvHD Prophylaxis

The goal of this clinical trial is to determine the effectiveness of Reduced Dose Post-Transplant Cyclophosphamide (PTCy) in patients with hematologic malignancies after receiving an HLA-Mismatched Unrelated Donor (MMUD) . The main question[s] it aims to answer are: - Does a reduced dose of PTCy reduce the occurrence of infections in the first 100 days after transplant? - Does a reduced dose of PTCy maintain the same level of protection against Graft Versus Host Disease (GvHD) as the standard dose of PTCy?

  • Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy and Allogeneic Peripheral Blood Stem Cell (PBSC) Transplant

The purpose of this study is to determine if hyperbaric oxygen therapy is safe in the setting of stem cell transplantation. This study will also determine if hyperbaric oxygen therapy improves engraftment, graft versus host disease, neutrophil count, and incidence and severity of mucositis (inflammation of the mouth or gut) and infection. This study has two cohorts. The first cohort is subjects with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) or Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS). The second cohort is subjects with chronic myelomonocytic leukemia (CMML), atypical chronic myeloid leukemia (aCML), chronic monocytic leukemia, chronic neutrophilic leukemia ...

  • Impact of Epigenetic Age on Clinic-biological Presentation and Prognosis in Myeloproliferative Neoplasms Epigenetic Age in Myeloproliferative Neoplasms (EpiC)

Myeloproliferative Neoplasms (MPN) are hematological malignancies characterized by the excessive production of myeloid cells. MPN can be complicated by thrombosis and evolution into more aggressive diseases (myelofibrosis and acute leukemia). Aging remains the principal factor determining patients' survival in MPN. In recent years, DNA methylation has appeared as a mean to measure aging via the development of epigenetic clocks that have also been associated with the occurrence of thrombosis and cancer. The epiC project aims at determining epigenetic age of MPN patients and search for an association between this parameter and ...
